Stamp Out Hunger

Western New York will join the nation on Saturday, May 11, for the 21st Annual Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive. Donors are asked to place unopened, non-perishable items next to their mailbox before their letter carrier delivers the mail on Saturday, May 12. The letter carriers will collect the food donations as they deliver the mail along their routes. You should receive a postcard in the mail reminding you of the food drive. On May 11, 2013, letter carriers across the country will
be collecting food for families in need.

It’s easy to help:
1. Collect and bag non-perishable* food items.
2. Place by mailbox for letter carrier to deliver to a local food bank or pantry.

*Donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal and rice. Please do not include items that have expired or are in glass containers.
