Food Express

The purpose of the Food Express truck is to deliver produce and other perishable items, via a refrigerated truck, to member agencies for immediate distribution to their clients. This program exists as a means of distributing perishable items quickly to those in need. This truck limits the amount of storage time before distribution.

 

How it Works
Food Pantries arrange for delivery through the Food Bank. Once delivery is scheduled, the pantry advertises the distribution date and time. At the time of distribution, the pantry staff organizes all logistical procedures.

How You Can Participate
Individuals can participate in this program by visiting a local distribution site.
You may contact your local food pantry or the Food Bank of WNY agency services staff for information. Sites visited are listed below.
