“TO” WAS IN THE HOUSE
Future National Football League Hall of Fame receiver Terrell Owens of the Buffalo Bills was at the Food Bank on Monday, January 4, 2010 with members of his VH-1 Reality Television show to film him thanking our staff for the successful 81tackleshunger drive last fall. The second season of the Reality Show will air in August with an episode featuring “TO” playing his final game of the season in Buffalo. He currently is a free agent and can sign with another NFL team in March. He did tell the Food Bank’s Mike Billoni that he loved the fans in Buffalo although the season was a disappointment. He also said if he re-signs with the Bills he would support 81tackleshunger again. Below are photos from his visit to the Food Bank. The photographer was Sean Rudyk.

Walk off Hunger 2009

More than 500 walkers, along with sponsors and friends, braved the rainy weather to participate in the Food Bank of Western New York’s second annual Walk Off Hunger. The monies and food collected in conjunction with the walk will allow our member agencies to provide over 200,000 meals to the less fortunate in our four-county service area.
Walk Off Hunger 2009 was a tremendous success! Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 8th, 2010 to join us at Temple Beth AM for our 3rd Annual Walk Off Hunger.
